about

Hi there! My name is Jessie Neipp, and I'm from the Central Valley in CA. I started @life.is.good_3 as an inspirational account in January of 2020. During that season of my life, I was experiencing a lot of transformation within my heart and was motivated more than ever to share my struggles (as well as my love for Jesus) with the world. I found myself wrestling with relationships, acne, body image, religion, etc. Over time, I came to realize that most of those battles stemmed from my social media usage! On these kind of platforms, it's easy to criticize, be overly negative, or post only the highlights - but I wanted to change that! My goal for this account is to be authentic and real with you all, because that's exactly what I look for in the influencers I follow. Thank you for joining me on this journey called life: my prayer is that you are overwhelmed with positivity and filled with love, joy, and peace!

my testimony
In January of 2023, my life changed drastically. After months of battling anorexia I felt broken, defeated, and far from alive. My family and I made the decision to unenroll from the university I was attending and started recovery at a partial-hospitalization program in southern California. For three months, I attended an eating disorder clinic from 8:00am-5:30pm day after day until my bodily health and mental state of mind were stable enough. During that time, I released a short eBook called I Am Not My Body as a reflection of the hardest battle I have ever endured. My intent in writing this was to enlighten those who are uneducated on the reality of such a disease, create a safe space for individuals facing similar circumstances, and testify of God's healing power. If you are interested in learning more about this, please visit my Etsy shop! If you would like a free digital copy of the book instead of purchasing it, please contact me and I would be happy to accommodate.
